The Region is co-financing between €100,000 and €120,000 for 36-month doctoral research grants, for projects with a digital dimension, on the themes detailed below in the text of the call for projects :
- Women’s health, including prevention (including maieutic sciences and nursing) ;
Motor, mental, cognitive and psychic disabilities - Educational innovation and the use of digital technology in teaching and learning;
- Energy transition: energy efficiency, energy technologies, waste storage and management. (CO2 capture and storage; nuclear, solar, wind, bioenergy, etc.)
- Impact of climate change and exceptional events (wind, heat waves, etc.) on buildings and infrastructure.
Young scientists carrying out their doctorate in partnership with a higher education research establishment and a socio-economic organization based in the Paris Region.
In line with European criteria for scientific and technological employment, no criteria of nationality, age or gender are applied.
Applicants for this grant must meet the following criteria:
- Hold a Master 2 degree or equivalent, but not a doctorate,
- Be enrolled in a doctoral school in the Paris Region, in their 1st year of doctoral studies at the start of the 2025 – 2026 academic year,
- Be committed to starting doctoral research no later than January 2026.
Regional funding is granted to the institutions employing the doctoral candidates.
Co-financing over the 3 years (excluding any management costs) is expected from socio-economic partners (doctoral student’s salary, related costs, etc.).
For companies, this will be a minimum of €20,000 over 3 years, with the Region co-financing up to €100,000.
