A binational call for projects, launched by Health Data Hub & Technion-Rambam Initiative in Medical AI

It will be awarded to a Franco-Israeli research project (over 18 months) which will receive double funding : $70,000 from Israel and €100,000 from France, and will be supported by Health Data Hub teams.

The initiative Technion-Rambam in medical artificial intelligence (TERA) was launched in March 2022. This partnership between Technion and Rambam Medical Center combines clinical expertise, basic science and engineering to combat human disease using vast medical datasets and cutting-edge advances in AI.

The Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, the country’s leading technology and applied research center, is ranked 85th in the world by the Shanghai Ranking 2024 and is one of the world leaders in artificial intelligence (No. 1 in Europe and Israel, CSranking 2015-2020).

The Rambam Health Care Campus is a teaching hospital offering comprehensive medical services in all specialties. Its electronic medical record system contains data on over 2.5 million unique patients and over 25 million visits, as well as unstructured and biobank data.

This call for projects is scheduled to close on March 31, 2025.

An information webinar with Israeli researchers will take place on February 17, 2025 at 12 noon (French time). The idea is to answer questions and facilitate exchanges and contacts between the French and Israeli teams.
