The Mental Health and Psychiatry Innovation Summit will be held on June 11, 2025, at the Hôtel de Région in Lyon. Organized by AdESM (Association of Public Mental Health Service Institutions) with the support of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region, the event is open to everyone: healthcare professionals, patients, families and caregivers, researchers, associations, and citizens.
This one-day event aimed to explore how innovation could improve access to care and quality of life for people living with mental health conditions. Faced with current challenges such as psychiatric emergencies, young people’s mental health, access to care, and the integration of digital innovations, the Assises event sought to bring together diverse perspectives, experiment with new ideas, and showcase ongoing initiatives.
More than 40 speakers were expected to take part, including doctors, researchers, representatives of associations, patient experts, innovators, and institutional representatives. The day included roundtable discussions, personal testimonials, and an innovation village. Topics covered digital, organizational, and ethical innovations in psychiatry.
