Boris Chaumette attended the international symposium “Biomarkers in Psychiatry,” organized by FERREPSY Occitanie and AFPBN, to present PROPSY.

The use of biomarkers is changing clinical practices by improving the identification of vulnerable patients, diagnosis, and response to treatment.

There are many different types of biomarkers. They come from neuroimaging, digital tools, and precision phenotyping.

The conference provided an opportunity to take stock of the progress made and the challenges ahead for researchers, manufacturers, clinicians, and patients.

Cynthia Poisson, Raoul Belzeaux, and Pierre-Eric Lutz, who are involved in molecular biology research within PEPR PROPSY program, were also speakers, along with Ludovic Samalin for a round table discussion on “Digital Biomarkers and Digital Phenotyping.”

The program is available here.
