PEPR PROPSY was present at the 17th French Psychiatry Congress.
The event was chaired by Pierre-Michel Llorca on the scientific committee, Emmanuel Haffen on the national committee, and Philippe Courtet on the international committee.

DAY 1️⃣ A great start to the event, with presentations by:

  • Wissam El-Hage – Therapeutic developments in post-traumatic stress disorder.

  • Innovation as a source of light in psychiatry, chaired by Wissam El-Hage, with Emmanuel Haffen on neuromodulation and depression and Bruno Aouizerate on immunomodulation.
  • Antoine Lefrere on redefining the criteria for a neurodevelopmental sub-phenotype of bipolar disorder.
  • Philippe Courtet on bipolar disorder and suicide.
  • Coraline Hingray on borderline personality disorder.
  • Psychiatry and genetics, chaired by Ariel Frajerman.
  • Wissam El-Hage on the management of treatment-resistant depression.
  • Ludovic Samalin on patient-centered management of schizophrenia.

📝 Jasmina Mallet and Yann Auxemery were present to sign copies of the comic book Le monde est psy ! and the book Psychiatrie et psychologie du futur.

DAY 3️⃣

  • Optimizing electroconvulsive therapy, with Antoine Yrondi.
  • Incorporating agency into the treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder, moderated by Wissam El-Hage.
  • From precision oncology to precision psychiatry, with Pierre-Michel Llorca.
  • Lipids: the future of psychiatry? With a focus on metabolic biomarkers of psychotic transition, with Ariel Frajerman.
  • Artificial intelligence to address the diagnostic challenge of dissociative disorders, with Coraline Hingray.
  • Remote monitoring in bipolar disorder and depression, with Antoine Yrondi.
  • A debate on the relevance of monitoring plasma antidepressant levels in patients suffering from depression, with Florian Stephan.

DAY 4️⃣

  • Pollution and mental health, chaired by Baptiste Pignon, who discussed the link between air pollution and psychiatric disorders.
  • Burnout: a real illness or a societal phenomenon? A debate moderated by Pierre-Michel Llorca.
