On the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the Paris Brain Institute, the 1st World Brain Health Forum, an international forum dedicated to major scientific and societal issues in brain health, brought together high-level experts and international decision-makers to discuss current challenges and emerging opportunities in neurology and psychiatry.
The conference took place at UNESCO on January 15. It opened with remarks by Serge Weinberg, Jean Todt, Olivier Goy, Didier Samuel, and Stéphanie Debette.
“The forum builds on years of international alliances and initiatives, including the International Alliance for Brain Health, CURE-ND, the Brain Capital Alliance, and the Precision Psychiatry Initiative. This forum aims to bring these efforts together across disciplines, sectors, and continents.” – Stéphanie Debette.
These speeches were followed by presentations by Khaled El-Enany Ezz, Ban Ki-moon, and Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus.
Marion Leboyer, Scientific Director of PEPR PROPSY and Executive Director of the Fondation FondaMental, presented the advances in precision psychiatry research and the program’s objectives, particularly in terms of patient care and treatment.
