Job summary

🧑‍⚕️ Facilitate the deployment and monitoring of the French Minds cohort at the Bordeaux investigation site, as part of the PEPR PROPSY precision psychiatry research program, in conjunction with the clinical research associate (CRA) and the psychiatrist who are coordinating it

Main responsabilites
  • Liaise with the various bodies involved with the investigators, healthcare managers, and the CRA (Expert Center, Fondation FondaMental, research department, etc.)
  • Participate in internal research meetings
  • Ensure the quality and compliance of a study (methodology, experimental procedure, etc.)
  • Train and integrate new professionals
  • Organize the logistics necessary for the project under the responsibility of the healthcare manager and the investigator physician, in conjunction with the CRA
  • Manage administrative tasks

Assist the investigator with the essential steps of the protocol, as follows:
✔️ Checking eligibility criteria with the investigating psychiatrist before including patients in the study
✔️ Ensuring that the instrumental tasks are carried out and the blood samples planned for the project are taken
✔️ Monitoring the progress and traceability of the blood samples collected for each phase of the study
✔️ Ensuring the collection of standard biological data
✔️ Ensure the collection of standard parameters, including measurements of blood pressure, heart rate, abdominal and head circumference, weight, and height for BMI calculation
✔️ Ensure the clinical assessments and tablet-based ratings proposed by the study
✔️ Verify the completion of self-assessments

  • Obtain information on ongoing research
  • Know how to assess your workload and interactions with other stakeholders (team members or external parties)
  • Prevent potential problems and propose solutions with the CRA and the study manager
  • Detect and correct inconsistencies in the protocol or data collected in conjunction with the CRA and the study manager
  • Manage stocks related to your role
  • If necessary, use the RADAR unit’s emergency trolley, in coordination with the healthcare manager and the delegated physician
  • Liaise between the various parties involved in the research
Required skills and qualities

🎓 Degree and/or qualification

State nursing degree

University degree in clinical studies or other scientific fields such as DIU (inter-university diploma)

ARC (in the case of recruitment of an agent with joint IDE/ARC skills)

📝 Knowledge

Knowledge of scientific English

Knowledge of institutional/academic research organization

Knowledge of mental health, if possible
