Jasmina Mallet attended the Paris Book Festival on April 17, 2026, to present the graphic novel Le monde est psy !, co-written with Benoît Broyart, illustrated by Laurent Boyer, and published by Hygée Editions.
This comic serves as a tool to help destigmatize psychiatric illnesses for a broad audience, with support from the PEPR PROPSY program. It creates a dialogue between a psychiatrist, a writer, and an illustrator, offering a thoughtful and empathetic perspective to better understand mental health disorders.
On this occasion, Jasmina also took part in a panel discussion titled “At the Heart of Mental Health,” alongside authors Jean-Victor Blanc and Agnès Colomb. Blending pop culture, personal accounts, and fiction, they explored addictions, mental health conditions, and journeys of resilience.
How can we recognize signs of distress? Who can we turn to when everything feels overwhelming? How can we reduce the stigma surrounding psychiatric disorders? The discussion provided an opportunity to examine different dimensions of mental health through fiction, essays, and graphic storytelling.
A way to recognize, take action, and break the stigma.
