The Fondation of France promotes the development of new methods for the prevention, early diagnosis, and treatment of psychiatric disorders.
Support collaborative research projects aimed at improving the prevention, early diagnosis, and treatment of disabling psychiatric disorders by strengthening the link between basic/preclinical research and clinical practice.
Disabling psychiatric disorders, excluding addictions, autism spectrum disorders, and dementia.
Projects focused on:
- evaluation of diagnostic and therapeutic methods or medical devices,
- mechanisms of susceptibility and resistance to treatment,
- translational research (preclinical ↔ clinical) on targeted cohorts.
Two separate teams are required:
- a clinical team (psychiatrists, psychologists, etc.)
- a research team (neuroscience, social sciences and humanities, epidemiology, etc.)
Principal investigator affiliated with:
- a public research organization (EPST/EPIC)
- or a public health institution
Each team may submit only one project. Teams that are already receiving funding may not submit another application.
- Up to €200,000
- Duration: 1 to 3 years (annual or multi-year)
